How to rip DVD to Divx in the "play" mode?

Step One: Download and install the iLead DVD Ripper
Click here to download iLead DVD Ripper. After the download, run the .exe file to install.
Step Two: Run the iLead DVD Ripper
Insert DVD disc into the Drive, run iLead DVD Ripper, and you will see the main screen appears like this:
Click
to load DVD from hard disk or from the disk drive.
Click 
to activate crop function.
You can choose No Crop if you like the screen remain the original; Crop Top if you like to crop the top blank bar;Crop Bottom if you like to crop the bottom blank bar; Crop top and Bottom if you like to crop the top and bottom blank bar.
Try 
to adjust the crop area. Use 
to choose the default parameters of crop item.
Step Four: Set a proper profile
Click on 
button to open the Record settings menu.
Click on Profiles to choose the very profile for your mobile devices. To modify the profile, please click on 
to open Configure profiles menu. Or you can activate this function by clicking on the 
button to open output settings dialogue.
If you are trying a multipass encoder, divx or xvid must be set. Take divx encoder for example. First, choose #system codec profile. Then, click 
, and the Audio and Video settings box appears like this:
Click Video Encoder and choose Divx codec.
To set 1-pass encoding DVD, first click Encoding Type and choose Singlepass.
Click 
to open a box like this:
Select the Rate control mode, and choose 1-pass. Then, click OK
To set a 2-pass encoding dvd, first choose Mulitpass, then click 
to open divx box.

Select the Rate control mode, and choose Multipass, 1st pass .
Then, click OK.
Back to the dvd ripper menu, click 
to open a dialog box like this:
Select the Rate control mode, and choose Multipass, Nth pass .
Then, click OK.
When a proper profile has been set, click on Browse to choose the output folder. You can set the default folder by clicking the button to open General settings dialogue.
Create a name for the movie by filling in File name blank.
Set the start and end point of the clip by filling in the From and To Form.
Click on OK when everything is set.
When finished,you can choose " Open output folder to check the output file(s)' to check the output file, or do nothing!
